Hello jobseekers! We are currently looking for a Cabinet Drafter to join our team at Remote VA PH.

Job Summary: The Cabinet Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate 3D models and drawings of cabinets and other woodworking components using AutoCAD. This role requires strong technical proficiency in AutoCAD 3D modeling and a keen eye for detail to ensure the quality and precision of the designs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. 3D Modeling:

   • Utilize AutoCAD software to create precise 3D models of cabinets, fixtures, and other woodworking components according to project specifications.
   • Ensure that all dimensions, materials, and design details are accurately represented in the models.

2. Drawing Creation:

   • Generate detailed 2D drawings from 3D models, including plans, elevations, sections, and assembly drawings.
   • Incorporate necessary annotations, dimensions, and notes to convey design intent clearly.

3. Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate drawings.
   • Provide technical support and expertise to project teams as needed.

4. Quality Assurance:

   • Conduct thorough reviews of drawings and models to verify accuracy and compliance with design standards and specifications.
   • Make revisions and adjustments as required to meet project requirements.

5. Documentation:

   • Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and project files in accordance with company standards.
   • Ensure that all drawings are properly labeled and archived for future reference.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Cabinet Drafter or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing AutoCAD 3D modeling skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software, particularly in 3D modeling and drafting.
• Solid understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings within specified timelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
